You can't just play it with your pinky, they kinda slide into it on the record so it'd be better to just use one finger to get those slides. It makes the riff flow better

You can also use the A and E strings so you dont have to move your hand down the fret board just up the strings. Also don't use your pinky, just use your index and ring fingers and maybe your middle finger on the E string

If you bar across all of the strings, it sounds so good

If you use your first finger and just slide through the frets then it sets you up good for when you play the power cords

You can also play it on the e string, starting at the 12th fret

This method works out fine, but it’s just easier to use the E and D string too because you don’t need to move your hand up and down, pause.
