thanks, I've had that problem for 6 months so i just stopped using low gear

Do it yourself!!...its so easy say the experts.... twiddle the adjusters, and when your chain is wrapped around your frame, or jammed in the spokes, take it to your bike

Seems simple enough. My gears started shifting loudly and clicking a few weeks after getting my new bike, tried to use the adjuster, ended up screwing it up so bad i have no choice but to go to a bike shop. Not having a bike stand is painful

My bike was made in 1998 & it doesn't have those barrel adjusters on it.
