orz as usual. C++ or rust kinda the best but I think using golang would be more ideal if you're not super duper into big data and insane optimisation/utilisation. it is quite simpler, great concurrency and memory footprint is also low. Also, cute mascot :D and no java verboseness

I haven't done much Rest API development, but do you (or anyone in comments) think that load balancing the request will be much more eaiser in REST than gRPC ? Are there any load balancer readily available for gRPC, like in case of HTTP server? Or do i have to make one myself?

When trying to build the project using cmake I get the error message "CMake Error: install(EXPORT "cpp_redis" ...) includes target "cpp_redis" which requires target "tacopie" that is not in any export set". The cpp_redis repository has been archived and I cant find anything online about this.
Would you happen to know how to fix this?

Great video, I am getting "Could NOT find asio (missing: ASIO_INCLUDE_DIR)" however I have added the line to my cmake (and that dir exists). How can I fix this?

Hey, I have a question,
First of all, hats off to you, Amazing work, to the point and simple tutorial.

my question: I want to build and desktop app, i am gonna use electronJS for the frontend part or UI part, and for the logic part, or the backend, I am gonna use C++, i know it sounds dumb, but i have to perform some low level operations on NTFS system, which can only through C++. So, using the crow library to make JS communicate with c++ through http request is the best way or are there any other betters ways.

Also I tried the nodejs c++ add-ons things, honestly it's too hard to understand it and it does not seem that promising to what I want to achieve. Thanks 👍👍

lol cpp is ok but go and python is not crap lol, at less for rest api you better to use go than cpp lol, but nice video though don't trash other languages as they serve their purpose lol

hmm very arrogant.. I'd just write API with python.. no kidden.. wasting time to do that in c++. gRPC is good btw.
