Sometimes in the history of music everything works perfectly for an artist, this is the case with this fantastic album, Nicholas Barker played some fantastic drums over the album, great clean vocals and great black metal vocals, the keyboards are used very well and there are some melodic lead guitar playing, and of course a great use of the orchestration, when all of these are combined together we get the best album of Dimmu Borgir and one of the best and greatest black metal albums in history, yeah, black metal can be a great fun.
