So true.. i'm 53.. i used to be a total perfectionist.. to the point of washing every cup, spoon.. immediately.. driving myself and my family nuts.. stressing everyone out and robbing myself of joy in my home/ life.. I'm much more relaxed now.. still like my decor and things a certain way but less rigid.. i welcome the " well loved/ lived" in look of my home...now, within reason. 😅.., I too, was a caregiver for my mom for 12 years.. i moved into her home to take care of her.. and I had to let go of a lot of my " ways" to help my mom in her final stretch .. we're imperfect loved by a perfect God.. i had to learn to give myself a little grace. It's all about give and take. Beautiful conversation. I enjoyed it.🙏🏼🕊️💕
