Louisville vs. Notre Dame: The Louisville Cardinals fought hard but lost a tough one to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, 31-24. Tyler Shough played well, completing 24-41 passes for 264 yards and 3 touchdowns in the loss. Riley Leonard finished the game 17-23 for 163 passing yards and 2 passing TDs to go along with 52 rushing yards and a score on the ground. It was a turnover-filled game as The Irish began the game by fumbling the opening kickoff return, and there were 5 giveaways in the game in total.

Yall realize how beat up ND was in that game and still should have won by double digits. Louisville was gifted 2 scores from ND fumbles in thier on red zone to ND one gift from Louisville on the bad snap. I dont even like Notre Dame but they had freshmen and 3rd stringers on some positions on the field and still beat Louisville. 😂.

ND would be 5-0 with a 40+ point average margin of victory w/ any of the 3 actual QBs on the roster playing QB. 4 if you count Tyler Buchner, who's also a better QB than Leonard, but is currenrly listed as a WR.

As an ND fan living in Louisville (all my friends are UL alumni) k didn’t get to watch the game but they have a crazy wr core making sick catches! Confused why they called PI on them when to me it was clearly defensive PI. Keep your heads up. Happy to get the dub but nothing but respect for L1C4

“Bailed out, got lucky, blah blah blah.” That last play of the game the Louisville player did what they had been doing all game and pulled the defender into himself to try to draw a flag. Refs didn’t call it. Also, a DL dove on top of Riley Leonard after he was down and there was no flag. Go cry to the ACC. These refs are from your conference

ND limps to another victory with Leonard at QB. This offense would be putting up 400 yards/game with Angeli at the helm.

What will it take to bench Leonard? Freeman can't wait until ND is trailing late in a big game to put in Angeli, but he is going to. ND's season is going to come down to if Angeli make a double digit 4th quarter comeback after another medicore Leonard showing.

But it doesn't have to be like that. Brian Kelly had the guts to start Ian Book over Brandon Wimbush against Wake Forest, and the rest is history. Freeman needs to do the same.

Acc is an absolute joke of a conference, no wonder Clemson and Florida state want out. The officiating was so one sided I wouldn’t be surprised if the refs aren’t giving sermons tomorrow in the Catholic Church.
