Bible journaling and bible study tips, My favorite Highlighters and Pens

For Bible study and Bible journaling you’ll definitely want to se highlighters and pens. Whether you are writing in your bible or a notebook it’s nice to have a set that can be used in either one.

I will always recommend testing any pens and highlighters in the back of your Bible before writing on pages of your journaling bible. Also keep in mind, your journaling Bible will get messy and mistakes will be made, but the process of learning and knowing God is most important.

Thanks for sharing. I just came across the same thing in my Bible! The pinks, reds and purple pens needs to be stayed away from! Save those for a journal/notebook. :)

I had pens run in one of my Bibles once.
It didn’t happen right away… I didn’t notice until months later.
The problem was it just kept running until the writing was no longer legible on the front side (where I had written) and also bad on other side of sheet. It also showed through the white out.
I ended up buying a new Bible and transferring notes. And now only use the pigma micron archival pens. It’s been several years and they do not run at all. The unfortunate thing is they only come in very specific bright colors but I make it work.

What is the name of the journaling Bible, if you don't mind me asking. I just got my Life Application Study Bible 3rd edition large print, but I LOVE the idea of a journaling Bible. I have a Bible and prayer journal, and a bunch of other versions of the Bible and even use Logos to do my journaling so I can do it on the go. I am trying to find the right highlighters and pens so I can begin to make notations and such in my new study Bible. I am thoroughly enjoying being a Bible geek!!! ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🤓🤓🤓

Have you tried any products by Mr.Pen? I love their chisel tip muted pastel highlighters. I started with the 8 pack. I like them a lot so I want to order all the Mr.Pen products.

I have a world bible school study edition journaling bible and a king James bible and a Spanish bible as well can I write in them with a Bic stic pen or with a sharpie
