Monte Grappa is an incredible climb located north of Venice, Italy, steeped in history. It marks the start of the Alps to the north, it’s 1775m high, and there are 10 different roadways to the top. Ollie is about to take on the challenge of climbing every single one of them—totalling an elevation gain of twice the height of Everest. These might just be the hardest hours of Ollie’s entire life... Will they break him?

I'm from Bassano del Grappa, which is the town at the bottom of Mount Grappa...I can't express in words what Ollie was able to do! For amateurs cyclists here Mount Grappa is considered an achievement, and already doing it one time is huge...I can't imagine what it can be doing it for 10 times!!
Big kudos to Ollie!
Some more notable things:
1) as Ollie said when he began the tenth ascend from Semonzo, 18km at 8% is way easier compared with at least 5/6 other ascends, and consider that the climb from Semonzo was the one at this year Giro (which was probably in the top 3 most difficult climbs of this year Giro). I think that it can give you an idea
2) there is a "brevetto", a kind of certificate if you have done all the ten climbs to the top: I hope Ollie has taken it, not many people has done that! It can be validated at the top of the climb in the "Rifugio", and it does not require to do all the ascend one after another - but also in different occasion
3) each year in June, Mount Grappa road is closed in one of its ascend to allow only cyclist to go up there (it's called Mount Grappa Day). I suggest cyclist who wants to try it to come that day: the road to the top usually is not busy but doing it with only cyclists around is even better!
Ps. Panorama at the top is really beautiful, you can see Dolomites and the sea plus Venice if it's sunny; but it can be also cold and foggy as in the video

This man is a cycling monster.
Even though he is not and never was a pro, Ollie impresses me the most out of the whole GCN crew with his incredible feats of endurance.
He really motivates me to push harder in training myself.

‘I’m sorry I’m not going faster for you’ Outrageously heroic effort, when mental toughness overtakes physical ability and somehow keeps the body going. Truly inspirational.

That moment, when with a mouth full of gummies, Ollie had a hard time throwing his leg over the bike, I felt that in my soul.

Incredible! How does any cyclist watching this not get emotional for Ollie's remarkable fortitude. Just amazing Ollie. Congratulations on smashing the record, and doing it with class and a smile.

This is incredible! I'm from Pieve del Grappa and I'm completely blown away by this feat, it's honestly beyond comprehension.
Thank you Ollie and GCN to show how beautiful and special this mountain is, despite the mixed weather.
Big respect.

I get that GCN, GTN, etc are jobs -- planning sessions, scripting, editing, partner mgmt, etc -- but it also is giving you and your crew, including the video creator team, some amazing life experiences. Just wow Ollie, no words. This is the stuff that will stick with you for life, and I mean that in the best possible way.

From an Ollie Superfan! You are my hero. Congratulations on this epic achievement. You brought tears to my eyes on that final ascent completion. Also can't say enough for the awesome support of Hank and Alex. The whole team and the incredible editting of this video was well beyond my expections. Thanks so much❤

Congrats on an amazing ride! I’m a bit surprised that the support team didn’t have a couple of spare tyres and a bunch of tubes in the car, plus a track pump.

Ollie - this is one of the most awesome rides ever by anyone on a bike. Whatever you do next you can look back on this as the defining moment of your cycling career. No one ever can take this away from you.

I have never had so much satisfaction seeing anyone sleep as in the clip added at the end. Great finishing touch.

What I like about Ollie is he comes to the end, humble AF! And just kinda says yup, I did it. And then kinda just goes home. 🤗 That's understated AF that was a hell of a thing he just did and he's like yup, I just turned off the lights, come on let's go 🤷🏼‍♂️🤣

awe inspiring! I suffered a stroke 2years ago and have lost 70% of my vision. after loosing my ability to drive I have started riding (safely on pike paths) watching this just made me want to push myself to do things out of my comfort zone. so thankfully to all you guys. I love riding and watching what you can do makes me want to keep pushing through my imparements and not let them stop me from achieving goals that 12 moths ago I thought impossible. thank all of you!!

Thanks for your effort Ollie, Hank, Alex, all of GCN that has survived, VW, and all the viewers.

I’d give more if I could, but this is the difference between being fueled for all my rides this paycheck and risking a bonk. I hope GCN is around in the future when I can afford more
