What’s up T Wells, I just had a interview to work at a power plant and your videos helped me prepare a lot. They told me this is the schedule they follow and they were surprised I knew what it was but I had seen your video on it before. I did have a question. The plant I applied to apparently is unionized. I’m curious if you’ve ever worked at a unionized plant and if you can make a video or short explaining the difference between union vs non union.

Hey man you’ve been a huge help/motivation to me on my journey as an operator. I’m 20 and I’ve been a process operator for about 6 months at a chemical plant in East TX. You do a great job breaking down all the ins and outs of the job. Keep grinding👍

I’d love to see a video talking more about adjusting to shift work and your experiences dealing with the weird schedules.

Another possible topic could be talking about retirement and long term financial planning as a process operator.

Your videos are greatly appreciated!

Hello bro. Is it easier to get into a place like marathon by knowing someone or shall I apply saying I don't know anyone that works there ? Thank you.

Who do you work for boss? Just got locked in as an operator trainee for Delek out here in W Texas and couldn't be more excited.

Just found ur channel bro. Im 21 and I’m super green coming into this operator gig. I’m originally coming from a scaffold background. This is not only a big deal for me but for my family as well. I got into this operator trainee paid program with Enterprise Products and I’m just looking to do my best to succeed in this role. I don’t know much but I’m working hard this is only my third week. Is there any way you can legally share some hands on tips when it comes to commissioning and decommissioning or how to read a P&ID without getting lost? Thanks for the vids bro

I work this schedule. The big con isn't necessarily the 3D 1off 3 night. it's the coverage. So if an operator decides to take off. Management decides to make you work part of your 7 day. One time I had to work a 1day4nights 1 off 7 days. When I got to my 7 work days of days I had to call out twice on that 7 day after that 1D4N mind fuck was rough.

Can anyone comment on which companies to apply for that have this scheduled. I can't find any aerospace companies that are actually doing this.

One quick question, is an industrial engineering degree good for Process Operator?

Can the company force you in on the 7 days off? What did the union and management agree upon in the contract? My company and union are currently battling on this issue. Obviously short swings breaks if there’s a call out etc, the company can force an individual into work. Have you ever come across that issue at your site?

Huge help. I looked everywhere for the job title. Not realizing that it’s actually “process operator”. I’ll be in the Alky unit. I just finished my first week of 11 for BOT. I was mind blown when I got here and was told we would be in that classroom and what not. I’m doing the other half of my physical on Monday for firefighting. I am with Delek. Now I’m more concerned about what I actually need to know for phasing out of “trainee” into Op I.
