ISO is FAKE, Here's One Reason Why!

ISO is Fake! Yup, I said it. Now what I mean by "fake" is that the common misconception regarding ISO and sensitivity is completely not true for digital camera sensors. ISO is not linked to digital sensors' sensitivity to light in any way, and it's a harmful misconception for photographers. Watch this quick video to learn why ISO is not what you may think it is, and make sure to give my other videos a watch while you're at it!

I know this is a short, but doesn't the ISO control the on-sensor analog amplification of the signal from the photodiodes? and with dual gain, switch to a different circuit?

ISO is definitely not fake, and saying it is fake is misinformation just as saying the sensor sensitivity changes.
