I watched every gave AJ played in the Coppa, from my home in Hamilton Ontario and he was outstanding. Especially against Argentina. With regards to signing Casper. In goalkeeping coaching they sum up the main attributes that every successful keeper must have. The four 'C' s ie. Concentration, Confidence, Composure and Communication. I added a fith 'C' after watching Liverpools Grobbelaar perform in that Europe Cup final. Craziness. Casper checks all boxes for me.

The club need to get real with regards to transfer fees. Man Utd signed an 18 year old defender Leny Yoro for £59m today. Now I know it’s a different league (Self proclaimed best league in the world!) but £8m for Adam Idah is not a lot of money in today’s market. Don’t understand though why an option to buy wasn’t taken out when he was on loan last season. The board may feel that they’re being given a raw deal but seriously they’re not. Idah was a big contributor to winning the league and scoring that beautiful goal in the Scottish Cup final against The Rangers. With the Korean player Oh sold on for £4.5m it’s a no brainer. I hope we get Idah. I think he’s got a great physical presence, calm and a great finisher…. and he loves the club.

Canada did great in the copa anerica and the impact jesse marsch seems to have had on the style of play was immediate considering he was only a handful of games in. When BR leaves he could be worth a look as his impact looks very similar to what ange did with us a few years back. AJ looked solid enough but canada had several standouts and at this point would probably beat scotland i feel especially the euro 2024 version which was so risk adverse, Canada's attacking football is just the polar opposite.
