Their are various places of worship where people go to offer their prayer.
There is only one God, however we call him by different names.

Mandir / Temple
A mandir or Temple is a place where Hindus worship.

Gurdwara
A gurdwara is a building in which Sikhs gather for worship. However, wherever the Guru Granth Sahib is installed is a sacred place for Sikhs, whether this is a room in a private house or a gurdwara.

Mosque
A mosque is a place where Muslims worship. Muslims may attend five times a day for ritual prayers, or on Fridays.

A church is a place where Christians worship.
