Great video!! I've always wanted to try this method but never knew how long to cage the queen. Thank you!!!!

The video does not mention when this should be done. I would assume that you would not stop the queen from laying during the spring flow. You also would not want to wait too late in the year as the queen needs to build a supply of winter bees. I am guessing July or August?
