Very nice going from quadratic equations, talking about the discriminant the moving on too quadratic residues, I would have liked to have see some modular quadratic equations written then finding solutions even with p=5 or 11. I found it difficult with p=5 why 1 and 4 are residues but 2 and 3 are not(mod5).

In the example with p=11 he states which are residues and which are not but I can't see why it's obvious. I'm sure I will but I would have liked more reasons why.
