Dream’s take on his fanbase is really weird. I get not wanting to bite the hand that feeds you and be grateful for the people who like you and your content, but I think he’s way too lenient. Even other MCYTs know when to say:
“Okay fellas, this stuff is crossing a line, let’s not.”
Plus Dream defending “toxic shippers” feels even more irresponsible because when people ship him with other people, even if it’s okay by him, that doesn’t mean it’s okay by whoever the other person or people are, right?
Would it be a stretch to say he *condones* or *encourages* unhealthy behaviour? Maybe. Would him just saying “stop it” make it stop? No.
But I mean… I’m not petty for finding this weird, right?
