Take a look at Open Broadcaster Software (OBS). I would post a link, but YouTube believes links are evil. Not only will it allow you to livestream to YouTube, Twitch, Mixer and any other platform, it's free.

Bonus! It will also allow you to record videos so that you can then just upload them to YouTube. That's what I use to record for my channel.

I have Wirecast. I like the interface, but not enough to spend the $300 a year to keep it up to date. OBS is Open Source and supported by a huge decentralized community.

I've tried most of the options over the years and keep coming back to Open Broadcast Software (OBS), it's simply the best option out there for professional features and stability. Most pro youtubers use OBS. You can use streamlabs version of OBS if you like to have a bunch of options for templates, scripts and such--it's a bit too much on the proprietary side for my tastes.
