I KNEW Nezuko wasn't going to die. But they animated this scene so epically well that I thought they (creator) changed their minds at the last minute to kill her off.
I know that makes no sense to do, but it's just THAT well done. This scene was SO emotional!

The fact that they decapitated hantengu 6 times until he actually died on the SEVENTH DECAPITATION was so painful, I like the idea that he cant die from just one decapition but finding the "true body" for like 5 episodes was so repetitive

But that wasn't the ending, which made the ending look so bad 😭.

They should have stopped it at Tanjiro beheading Upper 4, that wouldn't been so much of a cliffhanger 😢 because anime only watchers would be so curious as to what happened to Nezuko.
Even if they ended it at Nezuko saying Ohio it would've been marvelous.

Still nothing is perfect and we have to admit when it has flaws, that's what makes a manga great, it's flaws snd greatness in a balanced meal.

No, it's not underrated. The season was so boring. The fights were okay, but the villains were so bad and forgettable. Sure animation was sick, but that was all it really was. The payoff at the end was a neat emotional beat, but left me thinking "all that for this?"
