Solving Problems on Classical Relativity | Galilean Transformation | Inertial frames of Reference

Показать описание
This video discusses some problems on Classical Relativity mainly pertaining to Galilean transformation and inertial frames of reference. The video forms part of a series of videos on this channel on Einstein's Special Relativity. Several video lectures form part of the series and a series of videos on 'solving problems' are also posted. Albert Einstein proposed one of the ground breaking theories of 20th century - The theory of Special Relativity or the special theory of Relativity. Its importance in Physics cannot be overemphasized. Every Modern Physics course begins with a fundamental tour of the theory of Special Relativity. Problem solving is often ignored or neglected by most students learning physics. As a teacher of Physics, I find it more stimulating to teach concepts and follow it up with a flurry of problems. If the present generation is not encouraged to the problem solving approach, physics learning would remain incomplete. It is with this earnest thought, that I have ventured into posting a series of videos on problem solving beginning with the Special Relativity. This video contains some problems on classical relativity as it is the logical beginning to the Special theory of Relativity. All the problems in this video requires some basic math (arithmetic and differential calculus) and a fundamental understanding of Inertial frames of reference and Galilean transformation.
