In a stunning development, it was announced that the Alec Baldwin movie “Rust” will resume filming in January. The news comes one year after the film’s cinematographer, Halyna Hutchins, was shot and killed with a prop gun in an accident on the set. Hutchins’ husband reached the extraordinary settlement with Baldwin and the movie’s producers; the film will serve as a tribute to the late cinematographer.

How can the person who put a real bullet into a prop gun not be charged with murder, I’ll never understand.

I guess the money made the husband not care anymore. Yikes

Halyna's directorial legacy will live on through her work & family; I hope Hollywood honors her as well. In Loving Memory...

Best believe this movie will gain major traction not because it could be good but because of this unfortunate accident

Part of me is like “hell no!” Everyone who worked on that film helped make the movie happen, not just Alec Baldwin, but Halyna Hutchins too, and the costume designers, etc. but then again, the show must go on… and they released the crow after Brandon Lee died… so…

I don't understand why everyone blames Baldwin for this. He was just an actor who held what he thought was a PROP gun. It's the prop master/safety directors fault for not checking the gun before hand, not Baldwins fault for firing what he thought was a prop weapon.

You know I find it strange when there is a gun involved on a movie set and somehow has a real round in it.
Like literally this is not the first case I've heard where it actually happened, if anyone wants to bring up Bruce lee's son's passing on crow for example.

I just find it weird how that keeps happening, you think when you like you here's like stories like those like they will take better precautions and make sure it does not happen again and then this happened.

My guy…WHO THE HELL PUT THE LIVE BULLET IN THE GUN??? WHY IS EVERYONE SKIPPING THAT DETAIL?!?! This whole case is just one huge headache. All I see is fingers pointing a Alec for every little thing possible and yet the person responsible for the props just walks away like nothing happened..

The person who inserted a real bullet into a prop gun on a movie set is 100% at fault.

And all it took was a donation of Untold Millions to obtain forgiveness from the family.

Disrespectfull to the deceased woman, her surviving husband should have blocked the movie, instead takes blood money ....

I don’t think this film doesn’t deserve to be released after what happened. 😢 R.I.P. Director🙏🏻 I know Alec Baldwin didn’t mean to shot her, it was an accident.
