I really liked your disclaimer on your criticism. I think that was really important to include at that point. Thanks for taking us along! Wow, that was quite an interruption you had to make toward the end! Probably the worst mistake that FSD made on this trip. Looks like the car tried to pass that bush in front of you on the right, but the road only went to the left! Keeps you alert.

17:00 Regarding not holding the poorly-shaped wheel during turns, notice that when you brake mid-turn to disengage FSD, the steering also 'unwinds' (in addition to any understeer slip due to force transfer). This means that every user of FSD must be aware that the car will go 'straight on' when disengaged in a turn, often making the situation worse and requiring the driver to rapidly grab the wheel and agressively turn back into the bend (else will run off the road or head-on collide with oncoming traffic).

I bet very few owners realise this 'handing back control' scenario: a bad situation becomes a deadly situation.

Love the videos. Just got fsd beta earlier this monday for the first time and i will say that it has definitely impressed me many times, but also disappointed me just as many times. still much work to be done and im here for it!

Seeing as you are one of few refresh model s owners doing videos, please consider doing some evaluation of the suspension parameter screen and how it adjusts damping when it experiences rough road conditions. Nobody has done this yet and it is something of interest, to me at least. Thumbs up on your FSDB commentary.

@9:07 you mentioned that the steering wheel 'turned right to go left'. Watching that portion a couple of times reveals that the Tesla was pointed in a direction that if rear-ended would push the Tesla into on-coming traffic. Therefore the Tesla changed it's wheels to point to the right in case it was rear ended. The FSD is always thinking about safety first so sometimes it seems like it is making odd choices but in reality it is looking at a bigger picture.

17:04 Great reflexes man! I've seen you take the exact same route countless times with every update and I had never seen anything like that happen that you have to brake hard to a complete stop. Makes me scrach my head. "one step forward, two steps back?" It is what it is and honestly this event does not push me away from the excellent FSD. Just quite a hiccup that's for sure.

(EDIT: so, if i was driving on that road i would place myself dead center of the lane as frequently as i could, not pass on the right ever, and not know that the turn-only portion was what it was until i was within visual distance. Not putting fault on the road but what is the deal with waiting until 50 foot mark to put a solid line, no dots prior, marking turn-only?)

Frankl, , FSD Beta team will need to work very hard to get these kind of driving paths good. It's definitely not as easy as driving on the usual square roads and very lines marked of Los Angeles every other FSD beta tester are driving on... When FSD is driving on roads without a lot of marking lines like these tests paths, it struggles a bit.

For your FSD routes, how do you queue stuff up? Is it done prior to the video each time? I have some FSD routes but I just favorite and toggle them as I get near them.

I am well over 100 miles of auto pilot
I have a score of 94 and sometimes it goes to 95
I have recently purchase a subscription for FSD
I have enrolled in FSD beta by request

I have have Tesla insurance

So my question is: is this enough requirements as of October 2022 to acquire FSD beta right away?

I know there are people from my city that already have it, but is going on day three and I still have not got any update do apply in my tesla for FSD beta
