I was never taught this in school. Why not? All I was ever taught was Lincoln freed the slaves but they never went into detail about how horrible slavery was and how slaves or abused and treated like cattle. Now when some states they say they don't want the whole things about slavery toward because they don't want to traumatize the children but they teach about everything else. And in some states they are even Banning certain books

And sadly it's because of this that many of us in the Diaspora have inbreeding in our backgrounds, and it also happened when our ancestors family members were sold not to be traced or heard of again only to wind up getting married to family members after liberation. In the decade right after enslament, my ancestor had three wives and 21 children and a whole lot of family members i still have yet to meet. What is crazy is that this is after the days of enslavement, there's no records yet that we have found of my ancestors days during that horrible time, and the horrors they experienced. It's just hurtful to know that it didn't just happen to us but other people also went through this. And our certain genetic disorders that are prevalent in our communities were also concentrated due to this breed and inbreeding.
