I am the only black person on a block of only asian elderly people and im impressed by how beautiful everyones garden is. Never a weed standing around, not a piece of mulch out of place, and the leaves are always pruned to perfection.

My Chinese coworker asked if I wanted a tomato plant. I said yes and she brought me onions peppers tomatoes sunflowers and pumpkins. She's so sweet and cool haha

I had a Korean neighbor for a little that somehow managed to grow everything in south Georgia. I remember looking over her fence and seeing tomatoes, green beans, potatoes and cabbage with kimchi pots nearby. She also managed to figure out how to grow grapes and a fig tree. She was the sweetest neighbor every and would always bring any extra stuff she grew to my family since we'd just moved in and didn't have our own garden
