Question is this why tomatoes from the grocery store don’t taste like tomatoes. I grow in soil so I’m curious what the differences would be.

Yes Hydroponic what an invention from 30 Years ago 😅
And these are not normal seeds
F1 Hybrids cost 20 times the Price of ordinary seeds and you have to buy them every year again, because the seeds from this "one looks like the other" cocktail super Tomatos are not fertile..
and there is not much choice of F1 tomatos either, small, medium, large and all are only red.
The best tasting Tomatos are yellow, violett, Pink, dark brown/
blue or with Stripes, like the green zebra ect.
