disclaimer: I'm not a singer at all, but I wanted to make this since I've always liked parody songs, and love firefly as a character, so might as well give it a try...? even if my singing isn't the best (but huge thanks to yuca who did an amazing job at mixing ;w; !!), I hope you enjoy the art/lyrics!

Now that it's been a few days since upload, and since I realize some of you may be old subscribers who don't know who firefly even is (ty for remembering me and even listening !! ;w;), here's my quick retrospective~ [SPOILER WARNING]

Firefly's story is about an extremely determined girl overcoming her predestined fate as a replaceable soldier, born to live and die as a weapon for a fallen empire. Like an actual firefly, her lifespan is short, as she's suffering from a disease that causes her body to gradually fade away. It's a tragic story, but by spending time with you, the protagonist, in the game's own city of dreams, she gets to experience life as a normal girl, something she's longed for and defined for herself.

In the lyrics, I included references to convos and direct quotes from in-game dialogue and her animated trailer, "If I Can Stop One Heart From Breaking", a phone call event promoting her release, etc. If you're a Firefly fan too, hopefully the lyrics resonate with you!

I think you underestimate how good at singing you are. The lyrics were also well-written. Altogether, this is a far more emotional version of the original song, even as someone who doesn't know the character it is about. Great job!
