Korean house tour! In this video, I give you a tour of our Korean home and talk about some of the differences between Korean and American homes. I also talk about what we found helpful to bring with us to Korea and what to leave in storage back in the US. We live off post in Asan, near Camp Humphreys and this video should be helpful for those PCSing or moving to the Pyeongtaek and Asan areas in South Korea.

Your realtor can provide information on how to dispose of your trash and recycling.

Home appliances such as air filters, humidifiers, toasters, etc. can be found at Emart.

It seems like a mix of an american and korean home, spacious and modern. Thanks for the open house.

You can also request the furniture that is in the home to be removed. Ours came with no furniture and we left a good proportion of our home furnishings back in storage in the States but you can also borrow things from ACS while you are in Korea. We stay right outside of Camp Humphreys CPX and Charleston gates.

Wow I am impressed with the house! Daegu is a possible option for our next duty station and we’re totally open to the possibility! I like how spacious your place seems.

What kind of long term storage would you recommend in the U.S. where you can trust that your stuff is reliably stored well for a long time? The place I store now, rent keeps going up too. Any recommendations is appreciated, thank you!

What's the commute like to Humphreys? If you could give some insight it would be much appreciated :) I'm considering Osan or Suwon if I can live off base, personally

I see you PCSed since this video (Korea to Netherlands, what a dream 🥹), but I was wondering if you bought your houseplants in Korea or if you were able to bring them with you. We went through the agricultural inspection process when we PCSed to/from Hawaii with my plants, but I’m struggling to find any info on Korea. If you know if it’s possible, I’d love to hear about it. ❤
