Slowly, they are closing the escape hatches. (for the purebloods)
I didn't know you need a test to fly domestically
As an aside...I tried to check into a cheapo hotel in a provincial capital, a few days ago.
The receptionist wanted to see a 'v' cert.
I believe it's not a requirement (as yet) but shows where this mass psychosis is heading.

I'd like to know the logic behind any of this, as it is pretty well-known that someone vaccinated is still likely to be able to contract and pass on the disease. Who is being protected exactly?

Ben you are correct. Yet the requirement to be fully vaxx for domestic rail and air is coming. This is happening in other countries and it will happen here as well.

At one point in time those who had recovered from covid and who had the relevant hospital documentation had the same status as someone who was double vaxxed. This no longer appears to be the case.

The govt is completely ignoring those who cannot get vaxed for medical reasons (which is the case with 2 of my family members), and/or those who do not want it. They seem to have no concept of how or why people would not agree to have the covid jab. Is this the case? Or are they ignoring us on purpose?
Our family hasn't traveled in 2 years, live in areas that have had little to no infections, and we can't even go to Phuket! SO frustrating and wrong!

How is one fully vaccinated in Thailand 2 doses or one dose every 3 months as Bill Gates recommends.?

Flew to bkk last month. Unvaxed and no test. Is this a very recent requirement?

So if an UNvaccinated traveler gets a negative test, is a quarantine period still necessary? If so how long? It would be nice to be able to get a negative test and enter without quarantine.
