Community mourns man who died searching for missing hiker in California

The search for a missing Mount Baldy hiker has been suspended after a searcher died Saturday. Tim Staples, 32, was a teacher and a volunteer for nine years with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department West Valley Search and Rescue Team. CBSN Los Angeles' Adrianna Weingold reports.

An unnecessary death due to some hardhead who wouldn't listen about conditions and caused not only his own death, but now this man's as well.

Some people don't realize that when they hike and get themselves in trouble for whatever reason that it puts rescuers lives in danger as well. Condolences to this man's family and friends for his tragic loss of life while trying to save another.
