I just buy it. I assure you that it depends on your use. Obviously this is not a laptop for everyone. But it meets the expectations of those who buy it. For my use (Apeture, Final Cut Pro X (as in the pub actually)) it does it well.

The 13-inch MBP Retina is somewhat hampered due to it having an integrated GPU driving all those pixels. The 15-inch on the other hand has both the integrated and dedicated GPU's thus is offers far superior performance for both photo and video editing also comes stock with 8GB of RAM so if you're serious about doing FCPX editing get the 15-inch MBP Retina! I have one myself and I absolutely love it!

this is literally the greatest laptop... the only thing it missed its mark on is the price X) .... but worth it, if you consider the insides like flash storage, that alone would put the price up way more then what apples base price is so...so it is worth it, still expensive tho
