I would prefer a trx450 for 2 reasons 1. You can't beat the oem parts available and 2. The aftermarket support. But that thing is super nice. I wouldn't have turned that thing down.

I am raather new to sport quads, and recently I was blessed to be able to ride a friend's DS450X. it was pretty wild I must admit. What's the top speed of 70 miles an hour, it can hustle! And I found it being crazy, but not being too crazy at the same time. And I find myself wanting one really bad.

A 2022 yfz 450 is 11 grand so if Can-Am still made a DS 450 it would probably be like 13 grand tops because you can get a use DS that is very clean for about 7 - 8 grand

Those are fun machines for sure ! It’s too bad they stopped production as with so many others as well. If you ever get the chance try out a KTM 505mx, that’s the one Machine that puckered my butthole in stock trim.

I’d argue the early KFX’s are nicer. Have to put a little extra in mods but nothing to crazy. The 2008 when they introduced them with the fuel injection was probably the best version. I have 6 quads and all of them being 450s I prefer my KFX. Never rode a Can Am thou. Nice video boss
