Deadpool 2 had everyone eager to see the new set of X-Force mutant militants, which is why watching them bite the dust just a few moments after being introduced was hilarious yet odd. The X-Force can be called the rougher, grittier version of the X-Men, who seem sweet in comparison.

Audiences had been excitedly debating the possibilities of the new characters coming out in the Deadpool sequel. There was even talk of an X-Force movie in the works, before everyone was unceremoniously killed off.

Don't make much sense to me, I think Deadpool directors and producers are outsmarting themselves, this franchise is becoming a little bit too comical

To be honest it could have also been because they were referencing the comics, in the early issues of X-Force before Deadpool was in it Zeitgeist lead a mission where all his teammates died horrifically because of his poor leadership.

I love how Looper celebrates the demise of X-Force in characters like shatterstar as if it's somehow a wonderful and great thing.

personally, from my experience it seems like the joke backfired it pissed all the fans off. We would have liked to have seen these movie characters on the screen more than a second and kicking some butt out personally, I think the characters were disrespectfully handled and it was in poor taste.

honestly the only reason i didn't want shaterstar to die is because rictor was in Logan and i was curious if they could do anything with that messed up timeline. It was worth it for the digs at rob liefield though
