Clever write, catchy tune, and the vocals are awesome. I just have a few comments... Holiday means holy day, so what the hey is true.. Why be offended then if someone wishes you a happy holy day? My Holiday overlaps Christmas, and is also a holy day for me. You say you don't want to step on my beliefs then you completely ignore that just a thought. I never mind if someone wishes me a Merry Christmas. I assume that it's meant well, but it has no relevance to me. Happy holiday would.

As co-writer of this song Sheila I would like to clarify something. Just as you stated, though your holiday may be of no relevance to me I am not at all offended if someone wishes me happy holidays. This song is in fact directed at those who want to take away my right to display the word Christ or say happy holidays my way. I believe that you have the right to your holiday well wishes as do I and neither your beliefs nor mine should be banned from our society.
