Unit 7.2: Fallacies of Appeal to Force and Straw Man

Unit 7 examines ten fallacies of distraction, also known as fallacies of relevance, including appeal to emotion, appeal to fear, appeal to force, straw man, red herring, abusive ad hominem, circumstantial ad hominem, tu quoque, the genetic fallacy and the appeal to consequences. This segment looks at the appeal to force, AKA argumentum ad baculum, as well as the fallacy of straw man.
