Got the pixel buds pro 1 and that sounded the best in my opinion. Good thing I didn't buy the pro 2 yet, it has too much echo. That's an issue I noticed it has. I still want to buy it, but hopefully they fix and make the quality, if not better, at least as good as the pro 1

Audio recordings sound different than phone calls. It doesn't compress background sounds as strongly for an audio recording.

Thanks a lot, i was planning to upgrade my pixel buds pro but after seeing several reviews it is obvious that mic on PBP2 is worse than on PBP1. So no point to waste my money
