Dale McCarthy 2009 DUT Fashion Show

I designed and constructed these 7 outfits in 2009 for my National Diploma in Fashion and Textiles.
The romantic colour scheme of pink and white was chosen to create a whimsical, light-hearted mood which complimented the very feminine outfits. I also decided to include small doses of black in my designs as an accent colour.
All silk and silk chiffon was ombré dyed by hand, and all embellishments and accesories were also hand-crafted.
I was lucky enough to be awarded two prizes on the evening, namely Best Technical Range, and Best Range on Show :)
