If you do this, be careful. The sugar gets really hot and you can burn yourself easily. It does seem fun, but it’s very messy. So just be careful.

It’s so annoying when people say “ur sAyInG iT wRoNg” like as long as they aren’t doing it on purpose, what’s the harm? It’s like someone else had an accent and didn’t pronounce things the same.

Seriously, just make it on the stove. This is not only DANGEROUS but also, imo, a complete waste of time. It honestly doesn't take that long to make the sugar syrup on the stove, and it's much easier to control so that the right temperature is achieved; without the increased risk of 3rd degree burns when made in the microwave. Many plastic or glass containers that state 'microwave safe' are not intended to get to the temperatures that are required to make tanghulu; even the American pyrex (and probably French PYREX) you're using here has a high risk of shattering as the thermal shock resistance isn't equipped for that that high of a temperature change. If you were to put that pyrex jug down on a slightly cool bench top after taking this LITERALLY MOLTEN mixture, its gonna explode in your face. There have been many kids/teens (and even adults) that have suffered from 3rd degree burns from following this trend. I'm actually disappointed to see you promoting this on your page 😕 I love your content, but this is just reckless to recommend such a risky method of making sugar syrup; especially without having any clear warnings about the hazards involved. Of course there is still the risk of getting burnt when its made on the stove, but it is far far far less than when made in the microwave.

I'm not trying to diss you, but to warn you (and hopefully others) of the immediate health and safety risks when using this method to make tanghulu. I've noticed other comments on here mentioning that they know people that have been severely burned doing this or even that they themselves have been seriously burnt.

So yeh, please just be mindful of the content you're putting out there ❤

As I said, I love your content otherwise 👍 Your artichoke recipe is one of my favourites 🤗

EDIT: clarity, spelling, and punctuation
