Subnautica is an action-adventure survival game developed and published by Unknown Worlds Entertainment. The player controls Ryley Robinson, the only survivor of a spaceship crash on an alien oceanic planet, which they are free to explore.

I wouldnt say underappreciated or masterpiece, but it certainly is masterful in its story and immersion, mostly because while yes u do run into bugs that break the immersion, it very easily pulls you back in though The sheer realistic horrific feel of the ocean
