Mine came with the rubber piece already on it so far no issues

i had to put a small piece of rubber on the thing clamp part then electric tape to make it fatter, no more slippy

Are there smaller clasps so my bike will start without being in neutral? I have hd empire grips bike won’t start with it installed because clutch lever doesn’t depress the switch

My whip has actually prevented me from engaging either the clutch then the brake lever for some reason. Any thoughts ?

Personally I wouldn't have anything hanging off my handlebars that could get caught on anything ! It wouldn't take much to make you crash. It could get caught up on the vehicle beside you. Even worse is if some idiot decide to pull on it. And forget about splitting lanes! And it really doesn't even look that good on a bike.
