Yup - these are some major problems with the Book of Boba Fett.

My own main problem is - we have the payoff of Boba turning good, we have the journey, but we do not have the setup. We do not really see Boba being bad, merciless, cold-blooded killer. It happens in the comics, but it definitely should have happened in the story called "the Book of Boba Fett" as well.

Not having this backstory in the show makes the journey less interesting. Imagine Bobba wanting to do good, but being constantly tempted by his selfish impulses, making mistakes, and then overcoming them thanks to the wisdom he learned from the Tuskens. That would be a story.

As it is Boba Fett wants to be good... and just like that after being with Tuskens becomes good, trust everyone, gives everyone a fair chance just because he is such a nice guy.

I'm sorry, but to say cad bane's death was an anti-climactic waste is just ignorant and dismissive.
The shoot-out demonstrated the changes boba has gone through - i.e. the symbolism of being unable to beat cad using his bounty hunting gear, but defeating him with the gaffi stick that symbolises boba cultivating a unique understanding of tatooine and it's people to forge his own path and step out of jango's shadow -, and exemplifies some of the flaws boba is still struggling to overcome - the bloodlust instilled in him by both jango and cad, and a monstrous rage, which his rampaging rancor is a metaphor for.

I don’t think it’s that bad. It’s just a cluttered mess for me. I don’t think the Din being reunited with Grogu was too bad but I will agree it was too soon. It’s a mess but not a bad one. Yashihime on the other hand is one that actually makes me cringe from just reading about what a mess it is.

The Book of Boba was just.... disappointing. But what personally bothers me most is how they wasted Cad Bane. Cad Bane is one of favorite characters, I’m sad about how utterly lackluster his end became 😥
