I remember when this video of Its only Rock n Roll appeared first in America during some Rock awards show, it was so funny they forgot that Charlie was sitting and would be engulfed in the bubbles before the rest of them were, thats why first Taylor starts laughing then Keith and Bill saw Charlie immersed in bubbles. Good times. This song though with Nicky Hopkins and Mick building up that cresendo was and still is beautiful music. So fun to grow up with this music, you had to find it though, rock wasnt saturated the way it is now playing in movies, tv, stores, elevators. Its all over saturated now, makes it trivial almost.

One of my favorite guitar solos of all time. Mick Taylor was brilliant, just brilliant. To my knowledge (and I've looked), there is no live version of this tune by the Stones. If anyone knows of one I'd like to know.
