You can buy dog rocks for your dogs water bowl that prevent burning of lawn.
They are cheap and will sort the burning out.

you are almost at the point where you can start using Plant Growth Regulator which will slow down the vertical growth of your grass. This will mean you won't have to mow as often and will help you with your clippings. Other than that I would recommend mowing more often, it looks like you are getting a lot of grass clippings. You probably need to mow daily.

Your grass was too tall for a reel mower... should have mulched or bagged first with a rotary when its that high, and then clean it up 😂
