75% of Maui's disaster zone now cleared but 1,000 still missing

More than 1,000 people remain missing on Maui 11 days after deadly wildfires destroyed the historic town of Lahaina. The Attorney General has announced an investigation into Maui County's disaster response. Jonathan Vigliotti reports from Lahaina.

Just curious about something: If I was given the choice of obeying police orders that potentially put my and my family’s life at great risk, OR ignoring the police and past them and to a place of far greater safety; we’ll, there seems only one way it can be.

Or, was it that the police orders/suggestions/recommendations/whatever, seemed so logical at the time that most people simply assumed that the police knew what they were doing and people trusted them?

I’m not sure that I’d want to be one of those police officers right now.
