I’m Benjamin, I’m twelve years old and I was diagnosed with Osgood Schlatters disease. I was in pain very frequently, More specifically in both of my knee caps, I could not walk very far. I started to gain weight and I developed depression. 1 year later I found out about Wim, at first I thought he was some weird yoga dude Who was trying to sell you a useless course. But when I tried it I felt like a whole new person, my knee pain is gone, I have a girlfriend, and I am really happy. If you are reading this and have not yet tried Wim Hof’s method, do it because it’s free, wonderful, and life changing. Thank you Wim.

I had iron overload 2 years ago and I recovered. But symptoms started to get worst and worst during this quarentine, anxiety and feeling rejected took over me. Im going down a spiral of negative thoughts and arthritis pain, I'm hopeless at the moment because Im still too young (31) and have a whole life ahead of me. I used to be an athlete. Wim Hof came to me at the right time, today was the first day I actually managed to complete 3 rounds of breathing. I'm gonna shift to positive, Im also meditating and exercising, Im about to add a better diet and cold showers to my days. Send me positive energies, my friends, Im gonna beat this. Wim Hof method, cold showers, meditate, visualize, affirmations, read 1 hour a day, exercise, eat healthy, fasting, no sugar, no alchohol. My life has been so much better from implementing these into a daily routine.

I've been doing whm for 5 months. Just amazing how I feel good. My heart rate dropped for around 20 beats average, I run twice more than before with the same heart rate and recovery rate after a minute is dubbled from 25 to 50. My skin issues vanished (a few red irritating spots), allergies, all kinds of annoying pains, regular headaches, jammed nose... My wife spotted that I am in better mood generally and I feel excellent all day long. My cold resistance develops from 10 seconds shower to 7 minutes bath in cold water. Insane method!

The brain can use lactate (as well as ketones) as fuel instead of glucose. This is important for older people whose brains tend to lose the ability to burn glucose (CNS insulin resistance - see Dale Bredesen's work). This helps explain why exercise helps prevent dementia and why intravenous ringer's lactate following traumatic brain injury improves the patient's neurologic outcome. Incidentally, Wim Hof breathing helps me get rid of migraine headaches if I do the breathing early in the course of the pain. Thank you, Wim! You rock.
