Good lord, this is one of the most beautiful and melodic guitar instrumentals I've ever heard, I fucking love these guys' music. Just... without the lyrics lmfao. Thank you for posting this masterpiece. The feelings this instrumental gives me, especially that beautiful ass guitar singing outloud, is so euphoric, I can't even find the right words to describe it. Just pure bliss.

Charlie did a room tour and showed he was into music like Soilwork and I wonder if he was inspired by their song Distortion Sleep because the layered (around 1:01) part during the chorus reminds me of that a bit.

All memes aside, honestly people do appreciate just how painful relatable of a song it truly is. It describes the struggle of the average man, who tries his best to do the right things in life, respecting girls and avoiding drugs, only to get screwed over and denied constantly for his, well average-ness. And when he does manage to get a girlfriend, he gets cheated on due to something out of his control. even so, he continues to do the right thing and not be mad at his girlfriend, instead wishing his girlfriend can finally be satisfied. eventually, he gets fed up with life, no longer breaking out of his shell and isolating himself. he becomes fragile and shy, and spirals into despair, and becoming spiteful and falling down internet rabbitholes, believing science is a lie. he loses all his friends and connections from his excessive internet usage. his life slowly falls apart until he has nothing.
