I had this crazy unthinkable revelation in my life when I was 20. I got sober, got a job and became a productive member of society. I also stopped robbing, stealing, and even lying, I found out that when I don't do anything wrong, cops don't mess with me. I bought a little folder/wallet thing on Amazon that's made for keeping your registration and insurance in. I got it in bright orange so it's easily visible in the glove box, and there are only two pieces of paper in it. If I get pulled over, the officer gets the folder. No searching, no expired copies. No receipts.
