The 'link/transfer data' function is a great way to transmit properties of an object to another one or more.

I'm no rookie in this media, but I'm jumping from paid/ransomware programs like Max to Blender for a fresh start, and this has to be one of my biggest hangups with Blender - in Max, it was as simple as having multiple objects selected, and one click applied a modifier or what have you across all of them. In Blender, it only applies it to the "active" object. I either had to go through the pain of selecting each, individual item and applying the same exact property/modifier, or searching Youtube.

Now I know, and thank you for this tutorial, but God, having to look up a tutorial for something that should be so simple and self-explanatory is quite grating.

To remember which object to select first, I always say in my mind "Make this (select), like this (select)." Selecting the receiving and giving object as I say that.

Sorry i'm going crazy here... When i link the object data, all the object fuse in to one. They "do not stay separate"as shown in the video .Not that they become one object, but they all appear to be in the same exact place. They overlap each other. How do i solve this problem pls.
