Met Les last week, lovely guy, so helpful and exactly the same in person as he comes across on the channel.
Seriously considering selling up in the UK, we ended staying in Rayong for a week or so, beaches were amazing and the area is pretty underdeveloped.
So quiet on the roads once off the main highways. Food and accommodation appears cheaper than the more popular resorts.
We loved it and will be back, thanks Les, keep up the good work.

I completely agree with you, Les. Came here 10 years ago, the best ten years of my life.

I'm originally from London, but have lived and worked in the U.S. for 20 years (now a citizen). I have a great career and an excellent lifestyle. I still own a small house in S. London. The U.S. is expensive, but is still a great country that offers a lot if one is prepared to work hard!

Hi les great to see you enjoying retirement, but its taken you a few years to find that dream people need to understand it doesnt happen overnight when you reture in another country i think people forget you need time and patience to find that dream so many ex pats have found no dream just lonely and looking into a chang bottle on some soi bar

Hi Les and Khun Ploy, welcome back from your travels.
You’re so right about the UK. Everytime you put the news on, whether it’s the BBC or one of the other mainstream outlets it’s always doom and gloom. Makes me feel depressed just trying to keep up with the news. Enjoying the films.
Best wishes from me here back up in Pathum Thani.

My husband is an Aussie, he's 75 and he really wanted to live and retire in Thailand but he haven't got enough money (800, 000 baht) to deposit in the bank, to apply for the Retirement Visa. Should we need to talk with the agent? Could you give me some advice please. Thank you. 🙏🙏

Good video, Les. I am making the leap in June. The things that worries me are the forms to fill in. Which visa to get first?
