This exit from Afghanistan was extremely chaotic. Questionable policy over the last 20 years notwithstanding, our troops did an outstanding job to get so many people out in so short a time. Think about what they accomplished in the span of about 2 weeks. Sorry for this terrible incident, but could it have been worse? Considering the magnitude of the blast at that gate a couple of days prior, it sure could have. No wonder there might have been confusion about what was going on with this one. Condolences to these families. We all hope things will get better in the world.
