In order to improve everyday thinking, we need to understand the difficulties we're operating under and the fact that we can't make fully informed, deliberate decisions on most of the issues we face. We need to understand the shortcuts that people use (and must use).

Think101x: The Science of Everyday Thinking is a free online course on edX that's open to anyone. You don't need any previous education or experience, and you can participate as much or as little as you'd like.

Nice interviews, informative and such. Thanks for that. Please try to get the sound fixed next time, it's really annoying.

I wish this wasn't broken up into such short segments, it would be much easier to follow.

Lol! I dont knownwhy i never bothered to do the math on that ”10, 000 hour = Expert" claim:

_Daylight only_
*10, 000 hours ÷ 12 hours = 833.33 days*

*833.33 days ÷ 364 days = 2.28 years*

_Day & Night_
*10, 000 hours ÷ 24 hours = 416.66 days*

*416.66 days ÷ 365.25 days = 1.14 years*

So in short this shows how little people bother to check claims and can be easily fooled when a large number is thrown at them and paired next to famous people.

A comment is less than an observation, is less than a perception, or summary, judgement, research and analysis etc. So if the identification of the topic is off the mark, only those who have done and experienced a proper analysis know the significance of a re-mark. Intuition is the private comment and reasoning is the internal analysis in the same context of discovery of the point/mark of a topic. IMO-comment.
