Learn how to send a private message on YouTube to video creator. If your Google plus page is connected with your YouTube account then you can easily send a private message to channel owners.

Steps to create a private conversation with Youtube channel creator:

Step 1 - After logging in Youtube,Open the youtube video, click on the channel name beneath the youtube video, this will take you to the channel creators page.

step 2- Click on about tab.

step 3 - Look for send message button at the bottom of the page and click on it.

step 4 - Enter your message in the pop up window that appears. This window will already have the channel name mentioned as the message recipient.

Note :

1. Your Youtube channel should be connected with your Google plus page to use this service.

2. Don't use links in the message as these will be read as spam by strong message filters.

3. Channel creator will see this messages in his message box, he will also receive a notification for each new message, more over you will also receive a Google plus notification when he reverts on the message.

4. Apart from being private, these messages are like conversation thread, which makes it easy for the recipient and sender to relate to the conversation.

Steps to read the message on your youtube inbox.

step 1- Click on your image at the top right and go to creator studio.
step 2 - Click on communities from the left hand side navigation.
step 3 - Click on messages below the community tab.

That's it. You have found Youtube inbox.

I did follow your instruction and I Was able to get to the channel owner I did click on the about tab but after opening the about tab there was no send button available or as a matter of fact any other type of button. very nice informative video, but on some channel i tried this but i didn't found discussion option on it and moreover n in about option there was no email address option nor even other option to send message instead it was showing just joining date and below it showed india n showed phone verified , so whats this type of channel ? may b fraud or spam or both ??

I'm trying that, but the email address link is not there. (Not found under About) ... ! Ah! Now I found the Google+ link! Thanks. Oh. There is no Send message link under Google+ :/ ... Oh, I see you wrote this nearly four years ago. That just shows how troublesome YouTube is! It may be that the account has been set to a private mode that maybe was not available when you did your video.
