I've been harvesting the growth and using it as mulch in my chaos garden around where i planted rivercane rhizomes and a very high intensity of all kinds of grains and brassicas and a lot of native sedges too, the biomass is at least useful. I've got a few plants come up from seeds but I think I got them all pulled and the river cane will eventually take over. I think I might dislike bermuda more
